What We Supply

Feed-Grade Carrier Materials and Flow Conditioners for Premix Manufacturing

A premix is only as good as its uniformity — and uniformity depends on the carrier. Carriers dilute high-potency active ingredients (trace minerals, vitamins, enzyme concentrates) to a workable blending concentration, ensuring the actives are evenly distributed through the finished premix and then through the feed at inclusion. The right carrier maintains this uniformity from blending through storage through the animal's dosing system.

Flow agents and anti-caking additives address the physical problem that causes premix failures: hygroscopic ingredients absorbing atmospheric moisture and forming particle bridges that cause the premix to set into blocks, block dosing augers, and dose inaccurately. Amorphous silicon dioxide, attapulgite, and calcium silicate break the surface moisture mechanism before it starts.

Carrier selection also affects premix stability: reactive carriers (certain clays, high-moisture materials) can catalyse vitamin degradation. We assess carrier-active ingredient compatibility before finalising premix formulations and recommend carriers that preserve active potency throughout the declared shelf life.

Technical Capabilities

How We Source, Test & Supply Feed Excipients

Carrier consistency directly affects premix homogeneity. Variable bulk density, particle size, or moisture in a carrier translates directly into blending variation and dosing inaccuracy in the finished premix. Our sourcing and testing programme eliminates that variability.

Particle Size & Bulk Density Characterisation

Laser diffraction particle size distribution and tapped/bulk density measurements on all carrier lots — ensuring physical property consistency that directly affects premix blending uniformity and dosing accuracy.

Moisture & Hygroscopicity Assessment

Loss on drying and moisture sorption isotherm measurements for each carrier type. Moisture specification limits set to prevent premix caking during storage across the humidity range typical of your storage conditions.

Heavy Metals & Contaminant Testing

All mineral carrier raw materials tested for lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury, and fluorine against BIS and EU maximum limits before use. Critical for export compliance and the integrity of the food animal supply chain.

Carrier-Active Ingredient Compatibility Testing

Reactive carrier assessment — accelerated stress testing at 40°C/75% RH identifies carrier materials that catalyse vitamin degradation. Incompatible combinations are excluded from recommendations.

Nutritional Guaranteed Analysis

Full proximate analysis (moisture, crude protein, crude fibre, ash, crude fat) and mineral analysis for all carriers with nutritional contribution. Consistent data for diet formulation software integration.

GMP-Certified Batch Production

Full incoming QC testing, blending uniformity verification, and NABL-accredited third-party CoA on every commercial batch. Electronic batch records maintained for full raw material traceability.
