NutraX Biotech Private Limited today announced the successful award of ISO 22000:2018 certification, following a comprehensive third-party audit of its food safety management systems conducted by an accredited certification body.
ISO 22000:2018 is the internationally recognised standard for food safety management systems, applicable across the entire food supply chain. Certification confirms that NutraX Biotech's processes for hazard analysis, prerequisite programme management, and food safety team activities meet global best practice requirements.
"ISO 22000 certification validates what we have been building since day one — a manufacturing environment where food safety is embedded in process design, not bolted on after the fact," said the management team at NutraX Biotech. "It gives our clients — domestic and international — an independent, verifiable assurance of the standards we operate to."
The certification covers NutraX Biotech's micronutrient premix manufacturing operations, including human nutrition formulations and animal feed premixes, at its manufacturing facility in Haryana.
The award of ISO 22000:2018 certification adds to NutraX Biotech's existing quality and regulatory credentials, which include FSSAI approval for the manufacture and sale of fortified food ingredients in India.
NutraX Biotech's complete certifications and accreditations are available for review on the Certifications page.
